It’s easy to lose your way while navigating the wealth of information available concerning diets and influencer wellness advice.  One quick search on the internet and you’ll find conflicting recommendations for nutritional supplements, what to eat, what NOT to eat, high fat, low fat, high carb, low carb… and the list goes on.

According to the World Health Organization, chronic inflammatory diseases are responsible for three of every five deaths, worldwide.   These include heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases, and respiratory diseases, to name a few of the biggies.  Diet and stress are huge contributors to chronic inflammation which makes it all the more important to start making changes NOW.  Nutrition and wellness coaching empowers you to take control of your own health.   Using education as the cornerstone of my approach, I coach, teach and mentor my clients to use what they’ve learned to carry out their own health and wellness goals.

What happens during your coaching session?

The purpose of these sessions is to help you identify your health goals.  During the session,  we will work together to identify any obstacles preventing you from achieving those goals, (food cravings, time restraints, unsure of what to eat, lack of support, loss of motivation, etc.) and design an action plan to reach them.  Coaching is “action-oriented”.  My role is to keep you moving forward while I guide and support.  Together, we will implement strategies to reach your goals.  My coaching includes education on self-care practices, including diet and stress management as well as resources to make the transition to healthy lifestyle choices completely manageable.  My goal is to help you find a simple, sustainable approach to achieving wellness and balance in your life.
